About Matt
Matt Watson is a Boston-based director and cinematographer. Matt specializes in creating human-first, character-driven brand storytelling, combining a sharp eye and attention to detail to make impactful video content. Whether as an independent videographer, or leading a team of creatives, Matt works holistically to translate a brand’s language and tenets to a cohesive creative vision.
Over the last decade-plus, Matt has traveled the world filming story-driven, branded content in Namibia, Iceland, Colombia, Scotland, Mongolia, Japan, Yemen, and beyond. He has directed and shot documentary, commercial, travel, and television programming for NBC, Discovery, ESPN, Reebok, Marriott, Panasonic, PBS Kids, and more. His work with PBS Kids was nominated for two Daytime Emmys.
